The Body Bugg:

Yes, I have acquired a body bugg. You know... that thing that the people on The Biggest Loser wear all day? Oh my. It truly is a glorious thing! (thanks mom)

I've only had it for a day, but I can already see how awesome it will be. There's no cheating. No messing up. No pretending like you exercised more than you actually did. Complete accountability.... to a little thing that goes on your arm. I love it. And the website that goes with it is super cool too. That's where all the info goes and they analyze your stats and give you meal plans and just keep track.

One of the first indications that I really need to be losing weight and that my body is just waiting for me to do something was what happened the very first day I used this body bugg.........I lost 3 pounds. That says to me that my body is probably jumping up and down in side and saying, "finally! She's actually trying!" Weight only comes off that fast when you have a lot to lose and you previously haven't been trying too hard because you're so depressed over it all anyway. So, depression better take a back seat and healthy living better take the front. I feel inspired quite often to be healthier and get skinnier... and some times I follow through for about week... but hopefully this time I'll stick with this until I reach my goal. I am in a better place spiritually, which always helps me to be motivated and follow through in OTHER aspects of my life. It's interesting because when I read my scriptures in the morning... I always find time to exercise that day. When I don't read my scriptures, the only exercise I get is lifting my big baby boy all the time. So, I've been better with scripture study, and hopefully that means I'll be better with exercise. That would be really happy. I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Oh my goodness this is my biggest challenge in life. I don't know if I'll ever get it right, but some day before I leave the planet, I want to be happy about looking in my closet in the morning. :) I actually was last year, and it was really fun. My friend did the body bugg and lost 75 pounds. She talked about it all the time. Can't wait to hear more! You can totally do it!

Good for you, Hillary! I've never heard of a body bugg. It would be fun to have you write a guest post about it for The Skinny. I'd like to know more!

I also have never heard of a body bugg. But, once again, Bryan and I NEVER watch TV (only movies or our seasons of West Wing on DVD). Anyway, so obviously you are way cooler and actually know about these things. I'm so glad to hear it's helping you get motivated! Good luck staying motivated! (It can be hard. Seriously.) Best of luck with your goals! You can do it!

P.S. I too would like to have you write a guest post about it on The Skinny once you've had it for a little while and can tell us all about it. :)
